Day 1 UYMG ( Kuala Lumpur )


280907 - Lab and myself arrived at the convention hall at 12pm and the place was already crowded with people all over the world. We had Stephen Pierce, Mike Filsaime and Greg Cesar speaking on stage.

On Being Strategic
1 - You must start from where you are.
2 - Strategy is about leveraging your current situation to advance your position.

- Separate money keywords ( Increase your CPC ) and regular keywords into different
ad groups ( Decrease your CPC )

The speakers wanted to pack in as much info as possible during these 4 days seminar that there's no lunch and dinner break!! We din have it until 11pm...Well, thats an oversight on our part because we were told way before to self pack some sandwiches....Errr...We din pay enough attention to that :)

The various ideas given was spinning in my head even now and I am simply too excited to sleep..or was it the 5 cups of coffee that I had ?

Another thing that upsetted me was half way through the seminar, my boss called me on my personal cell phone to rush a report for a client....I din have the luxury of internet access in the hotel thus had to stay in the seminar room to try to complete it before sending it back to my team the next day...

Few more hours to go before 2nd day of UYMG !

I hope to achieve my goals by end 2007 and I can really say that I have the freedom to do the things whenever, whereever i am. Good Luck to me , Melvin and Love you Mum for watching over me all the time..! Misses you...
